I'm a good ol Samoan country boy from Tokoroa. My father is from Savaia, Lefaga in Upolu and my mother is from Falelima, Savaii. I own and operate a small but, significant business called Pasifika Research Ltd. It was borne out of a personal vision, in 2006, to do something that would make a difference in the lives of Pacific peoples. My research interests is in sport and recreation, health and well-being, whanau transformation, community development and education. My research approach is grounded in Pacific values and beliefs and strengths based thinking. I believe that individuals have the power to create change despite the wider context of the political and structural nature of the society we live in.
