Abstract
Katolyst commissioned this research to record the voice of tourism operators and stakeholders at the grass roots, to assess the major tourism issues in the Waikato, and to assess the role of Katolyst, if any, in the economic development of the tourism sector.
The purpose of this research was to record the voice of tourism operators and stakeholders at the grass roots, to identify the specific issues facing the Waikato. The researchers facilitated focus groups and conducted interviews across the Waikato region, with operators, i-SITE Managers, and key industry stakeholders to gather their specific views.
