Abstract

There is an opportunity for Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ) to present a business case to Government for direct government funding.

This report assists in informing the business case that will be presented to Government, but is not the only input to the case. It explains the basis upon which the numbers above are derived. It also briefly considers some options for the form which funding could take.

Beyond this report, SLSNZ needs to consider how best to communicate and position its pitch for government funding.
