6 years with an RST - Sport Opportunity Adviser, Sport Development Manager, Senior Team Leader, Programmes Manager. 2 years with an RSO - Executive Officer 6 months with IDEA Services Originally trained as a primary school teacher but with more years than I care to remember coaching hockey I fell into completing a Diploma in Sports Studies. Taking a sabatical from Sport Management papers. Very interested in disability sport and inclusion in general. Hope to do some research in this area when family circumstances change - my wife is currently doing psychology papers with a view to becoming an industrial psychologist so family time is precious.

Robyn has had a long and varied involvement in outdoor education and outdoor recreation in New Zealand and internationally. Her research interests include people's perspectives and experiences of being in the outdoors in a wide range of contexts. She is particularly interested in the social and cultural factors that shape people's views, beliefs and practices in outdoor environments.
