Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine standard range of motion tests employed by physiotherapists to describe how the spine moves in relation to the pelvis in cricket players. Overall the results indicate a relationship between the dominant bowling side and an asymmetrical movement pattern, where the left side trunk flexion was less than the right arm. Another significant finding was the different coupled movement patterns between right and left lateral bending during maximal flexion/extension.
